Steal A Pencil For Me will be honored by the ANNE FRANK CENTER USA at the Rainbow Room in NY, at the 11th Annual Spirit of Anne Frank Awards. Each year on or about Anne Frank's birth date of June 12, scholarships and stipends are given annually to students and educators, respectively, who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to combat discrimination, racism, and bias-related violence through involvement in programs offering conflict resolution, Holocaust education, violence prevention, and peer education models to engender understanding among diverse groups and promote social justice.

The United Nations Department of Public Information and the Anne Frank Center USA will jointly screen Steal a Pencil for Me, presented by Red Envelope Entertainment, in connection with the Holocaust and the United Nations outreach programme. The screening will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, 16 April, at United Nations Headquarters in the Dag Hammarskjöld Library Auditorium.
